Autumn Majesty
Painting trees and foliage is one of the hardest thing to accomplish in watercolor. Many times the different colors used just mix together and make 'mud' This is a term used when the color, freshness and white of the paper is lost.
It is a learned technique to know when to add color so it will diffuse and not muddle together. I love trees. They are strong and stately and make a statement of endurance. This mighty tree looks indestructable and beautiful, arrayed in autumn leaves.
