This was painted a long time ago, when I was a fairly new and rather inexperienced watercolorist. Working full-time left me little free time to devote to painting and perfecting my work. It was fortunate that I was advised to take classes at the Art League of Long Island because I had an excellent instructor, Steve Lampasona. I am paying it forward by teaching the techniques I learned from him to my students now.
